The LaserSculpt body slimming and contouring procedure usually takes approximately one hour to complete under local anesthesia but may require more time to achieve best possible results or if more than one area of the body (such as stomach and thighs) is going to be worked on during the same procedure. Most LaserSculpt patients undergoing this body slimming and contouring procedure return to work and their activities in about one day. Some people may need extra healing time. Patients who have 2 or more areas of the body worked on may also need additional recovery time. Patients may experience some bruising and discomfort, although typically not as severe as with traditional liposuction. Medications for discomfort are offered and can be taken if desired. Ask your LaserSculpt physician and review consent forms to find out more about your individual case and what you can expect.
